PLAYER REGISTRATION

As part of the Player Registration process, firstly complete the online SSFC Player Registration form below including payment of your registration fees through the options below. Secondly players must register with the FFA via the PlayFootball website. Please download the Self-Registration Guide to assist you with the PlayFootball Registration if needed.

The SSFC committee and coaching staff will not be held responsible for any players injured while playing or training at SSFC. Even though the players are covered under Football Victoria insurance we recommend that private health insurance and ambulance cover be considered while playing football with SSFC. In case of emergency the club will call for a doctor or ambulance. This cost will be the responsibility of the player.

Fees

A non-­refundable deposit of $300 ($350 for Boys U12-U21s) is required to secure your position. Remaining balance must be paid by 28th February for the provision of registration fees and uniforms.

For families with 3 or more siblings (same family) will receive a 10% discount.

All fees must be paid in full by 28th February. If payment has not been received in full, players will not be able to play at the commencement of the season.
Payment plans can potentially be arranged with the club committee. With any payment arrangements, the total registration fee amount must be paid before the start of the season.

All fees include Football Victoria (FV) registration, insurance, apparel, equipment and facility maintenance.

Medical Consent of Treatment Acceptance

As the parent/guardian of the player whose details appear on this form, or player (if 18 years or older whose details appear above) hereby consent to the player’s participation in training activities and competition matches under the direction of the staff appointed by the South Springvale FC. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorise any treatments or procedures that may be deemed necessary by a legally qualified medical practitioner.
Parent/Player Code of Conduct Acceptance
• All Parents/Players must adhere to the Codes of Conduct of our Club
• Foul and abusive language will not be tolerated by the club or the FV.
• Any fines associated with any misconduct or abusive language will be the guilty party’s responsibility to pay and may also face possible club expulsion. Read the Fines Policy
• Referees will be reporting inappropriate behaviour to the FV
• It is expected that all SSFC players, parents and family members respect referees, visiting team players, parents and supporters. Any misconduct can be reported to a committee member.
Volunteering Acceptance
• Canteen duties compulsory. A roster system will be set up.
• One ground marshal per team (home and away games) this is a FV requirement, they must wear a ground marshals vest and escort the referee to and from ground.
• Help prepare grounds. Nets, flags benches, stretcher and rubbish bins.
• Last teams must pack up all of the above equipment and please pick up rubbish around the grounds and pavilion. (Council will fine the club if left untidy)
• Team managers will keep a record of parents who have participated.
• Please note: Junior presentation is compulsory and all junior players must attend with an adult parent or guardian.
